As I promised, I did it.

I tried several times but a person must be in good mood to draw, not somethink like "I have to do this".
I like the strange character of "Dr.House"
I like that challenge of drawing classic portrait...

Done during a rainy afternoon, about 5 hours.
With square net.
Re-done in June 11th. It was great to use magnified photo in comp as a reference, it helped me to understand some details. Every detail is important!

Tools of trade: Ruler, 2B pencil (Faber Castell), two classic semiplastic erasers and one in pencil (Perfection, Faber Castell)
Photoshop with tablet. To deepen shadows and do some higlights with rubber.

Me, personately, I don´t like all that smoothing with fingers, cotton buds e.t.c. - I am drawing, not taking a photo ;)

I totally agree! I like being able to tell a pencil drawing was done in pencil XD The smoothing takes away from the effect of the picture (much like I hate when people use the gradient tool in digital pieces ;P)
